Terms of Service

1. What Alertifi Does

Alertifi connects to your Gmail account in read-only mode and uses AI to identify bills, subscription renewals, and upcoming deadlines. It then sends you reminders so you can take action before they're due. The service is designed to help you stay on top of financial obligations buried in your inbox.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. Notify us immediately at support@alertifi.xyz if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Abuse or overload the scanning infrastructure (e.g. running scans repeatedly in bad faith)
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without permission

4. Gmail Access

By connecting your Gmail account, you authorise Alertifi to read your emails to identify financial items. This access is read-only — we will never send, delete, or modify your emails. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings or from the Sources page in your dashboard.

Alertifi's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Alertifi offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro and Teams). Paid plans are billed annually or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are displayed on the pricing page.

Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then.

6. Accuracy of Results

Alertifi uses AI to extract information from your inbox. While we aim for high accuracy, the Service may occasionally miss items, misidentify dates or amounts, or surface irrelevant results. Do not rely solely on Alertifi for critical financial decisions. Always verify important due dates and amounts directly with the relevant service provider.

7. Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We'll try to notify users in advance of planned downtime where possible.

8. Intellectual Property

The Alertifi name, logo, and all software are owned by Alertifi. The data extracted from your inbox belongs to you. We don't claim ownership over your alerts or any content derived from your emails.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alertifi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including missed payments, financial losses, or data loss. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
